The full-size model for the pattern was stitched on 30 ct R&R Reproductions' Garden State Java, over 1 thread.  I designed it to be stitched over 2 threads, but decided at the last minute to try my hand at stitching over 1 instead.  So it can be worked over 1 thread or over 2, whichever you like.  The smaller model was stitched on 35 ct Weeks Dye Works' Kudzu, over 2 threads.  Both fabrics would work for stitching over 1 or 2 threads.
